The powerful MS 400 CM chainsaw is the world's first chainsaw with a magnesium piston. In conjunction with the consistent lightweight construction, this leads to a very low power-to-weight ratio of less than 1.45 kg/kW. The MS 400 CM uses the 67 cm engine, which was completely newly developed by STIHL and has an output of 4.0 kW, for the first time. The powerful machine with STIHL M-Tronic is easy to start and well equipped. The rapidly accelerating MS 400 CM is completely in its element when felling, delimbing and processing wood in medium-sized stands.
