FAIE offers a wide range of different pumps. Whether you're pumping, irrigating, or draining, you're sure to find what you're looking for. To help you choose the right pump for your needs, we've divided our pumps into four main categories for easier orientation:
Submersible pumps for clean water
Submersible pumps for pure water are designed to pump clean rain or drinking water.
They are suitable, for example, for pumping out rain tanks, cisterns or taking water from ponds, streams, etc.
Please note:
Since this type of pump only has a low delivery head and therefore little pressure, it is only suitable to a limited extent for garden irrigation.
Garden pumps and irrigation pumps
These pumps are ideal for watering your garden, operating a lawn sprinkler, or for cleaning around the house.
Unlike most submersible pumps, these pumps generate higher water pressure. This is specified either in bar or in head – 1 bar of pressure corresponds to approximately 10 m of head (4 bar = 40 m head).
An important distinguishing feature is whether the pump is equipped with or without a pressure switch. A pressure switch automatically turns the pump on or off when water is needed. These are also referred to as automatic domestic water pumps. In domestic waterworks, an additional air chamber ensures pressure equalization and thus a constant water pressure.
Please note:
With every meter of head, the usable pressure decreases accordingly. These pumps are usually headwater pumps that draw water through a suction line.
Sewage and wastewater pumps
Sewage and wastewater pumps are designed to pump wastewater.
Here, attention must be paid to appropriate performance and a robust construction. It should also be dimensioned appropriately for the application.
Special pumps
In addition to our extensive range of standard pumps, we also offer a wide range of pumps to meet your individual needs.
For example, we offer special shallow-suction submersible pumps with a residual water height of 1 mm for draining basements or in cases of flood damage. We can also offer a solution for almost all applications for pumping food or viscous media.
