Mastitis Detector MD4Q2
Mastitis Detector – Early Detection for Healthy Udders With the Mastitis Detector, you can detect changes in the milk even before acute mastitis becomes visible. This allows you to react early and better protect the health of your animals. The device measures the electrical resistance of the milk from each individual udder quarter. If the salt content of the milk increases, the electrical resistance also changes. This value is considered a reliable indicator of incipient mastitis. This also allows you to detect subclinical cases of mastitis – long before external symptoms appear on the animal. The simultaneous display of all four measurements facilitates direct comparison of the udder quarters. Advantages at a Glance Early detection of mastitis by measuring the electrical resistance of milk Detects changes even before visible symptoms of illness Waterproof housing for use in the barn and on the pasture Large LED display showing all four udder quarters simultaneously Data storage with date and time Data transfer to a computer via USB cable Storage capacity for up to 250 animals and 200,000 measurements Battery included Operates with 4 × 1.5 V AA batteries (Mignon)
