Work is made easier by using hydraulic top links on tractors and tow tractors.

The hydraulic top link with catch hooks or ball eyes has become an indispensable part of the three-point hitch system. Thanks to the wide variety of attachments, the hydraulic top link simplifies work and saves time, as the top link can be hydraulically extended or shortened simply by operating the control lever.

The hydraulic top links are all fully equipped. The necessary accessories—a ball for the catch hook, hydraulic hoses with connectors and dust covers, and the operating chain for the catch hook's safety pin—are included.

The hydraulically releasable check valve is very important. This holds the hydraulic top link in the desired position (length). This requires a double-acting control valve. This is available on most tractors. If not, the control unit can easily be retrofitted to older machines.

Purchasing a hydraulic top link is more expensive than replacing a damaged, mechanically adjustable top link. However, after a short period of use, these costs are justified by the ease of work and time savings.

One more FAIE tip to finish:

To determine the correct installation length of the hydraulic top link, we recommend attaching an implement to the tractor and measuring the installation length from pin center to pin center. However, an adjustment range for shortening and lengthening the top link should be taken into account, which corresponds to your attachments.
