Diatomaceous earth is a fine, naturally occurring sediment powder based on fossil diatoms. It is characterized by its high absorption capacity and can be used in many ways in the domestic environment.

Dry application: Sprinkle the powder evenly in a thin layer on the relevant surface.

Wet application (preventive application of a drying layer): To apply a fine and even drying layer, a mixture of diatomaceous earth and water (mixing ratio 1:2, e.g. mix 1 kg of diatomaceous earth well with 2 litres of water) can be applied to the surfaces to be kept dry using a backpack sprayer or special application equipment. We recommend using a coarse nozzle of approx. 0.5 mm to avoid blockages. Max. Pressure: 6 bar. The finished suspension should be applied to the surface in such a way that it is wetted but not dripping wet. After application, the liquid dries and a fine, visible drying layer of diatomaceous earth remains.
