Thanks to the patented evaporation principle with two wicks (paper and fleece), the Nassenheider Professional ensures an almost constant volume flow of formic acid throughout the entire treatment period of 10 to 14 days. The horizontal wick lies in the base pan, which protects the young brood from the gases directly under the evaporator. In addition, the base tray protects the bees from liquid acid should something go wrong.
The slow evaporation during the treatment period protects the life of the queen very effectively. ~A bottle with a scale acts as a tank.< /strong>
The tank capacity is 290ml - so it has enough volume to treat even large colonies with formic acid without having to keep refilling.
< b>Low total height of 70mm - so it can be placed in an upturned lining frame or in an empty frame.
