Achieve higher voltages with 15 joules of pulse energy than the previous model with 37 joules: this is possible with the PATURA P 8000 Tornado Power. The special, innovative power supply unit provides the necessary insulation between the power supply and the fence. Thanks to this patented technology, the highest voltages are achieved even under exceptional loads, making the device ideal for use with extreme fence lengths or large herd protection fences. The performance of the earthing can be easily checked using the reference earthing connection, and faults in the earthing are clearly indicated by the corresponding indicator light. Thanks to the insulation between the fence and the power grid, the latter is significantly better protected against lightning strikes to the fence.

Extreme increase in efficiency thanks to innovative power supply

The P 8000 Tornado Power is the first IPC power supply unit to be used in electric fencing equipment. This innovative, insulating power supply unit (IPC: Isolated Power Coupling) in conjunction with a modified transformer design is the prerequisite for a considerable increase in efficiency in the device electronics. The insulation required in Europe between the fence and the power supply is transferred from the transformer to the power supply unit. Energy is transmitted according to the principle of inductive, electromagnetic coupling. In particular, lower resistances in the transformer and in the output circuits ensure that the fence voltage remains high even under extreme loads. This technology is protected by patent.
