Premium tube dispenser that uses species-specific attractants to reliably lure book printers!
Long-lasting effect (release independent of weather conditions, therefore ideal release of attractant) with visible fill level.
The spruce bark beetle is the most common bark beetle on spruce in Central Europe and is preferably found in the thick-barked area (lower trunk area).
Recognition: brown bore dust on the bark, bore holes, discolouration of the crown, needle drop, bark chipping!
Trap location: For monitoring in endangered areas (sunny edges),
locations with previous infestation in standing or lying wood
Trap distances: 20 - 50 m, safety distances: 10 - 15 m to healthy spruce trees
Date: from spring (16 - 18°C) before swarming season,
1st flight period from April/May, 2nd flight period: July and 2-3 sibling broods
Effect: approx. 10 - 12 weeks, then hang a second ampoule in the trap
