To compensate for phosphorus deficiency
The effective phosphorus bolus is given to cows in phases with increased phosphorus requirements, e.g. B. about calving. The bolus contains phosphorus plus calcium. Depending on age and performance, a calcium-phosphorus deficiency is more common than a pure phosphorus deficiency.
With one dose (2 boluses per 1 administration) the cow receives 32 g of pure phosphorus and 40 g of calcium in one application.
