Raising healthy and numerous animals is always a major challenge in pig breeding. It is essential to provide all piglets in a litter with a stable temperature level, adapted to their age. To ensure that the piglets remain healthy from the start and gain weight daily, a temperature of 30 to 35 °C is assumed for newborn piglets. From the 2nd to the 4th week of life, the temperature requirement drops to approximately 26°C. SunnyBoy radiant heaters are precisely tailored to these natural requirements: The more even heat distribution creates a larger comfort zone (30–35°C or 26°C) and thus an optimal nesting environment for all piglets.
