The ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump is delivered fully assembled and ready for connection, mounted on a stainless steel base plate.
Equipped with a 3 kW heating element, it features a green indicator light, a thermostat, and a safety temperature limiter. The control box of the circulation pump for barns has a summer and winter operating mode. In summer, the ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump saves considerable energy costs because it only switches on every half hour instead of running continuously. This also prevents the pump rotor from seizing. Naturally, the heating element is switched off in summer. In winter, the circulation pump operates with thermostatically controlled heating. This ensures frost-free drinking troughs even in the depths of winter. The pipe length is approximately 250 meters with a 1-inch diameter, and the connection cable is 1.50 meters long (excluding the power plug). The Lister ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump comes with a check valve, a vent valve, a pressure relief valve, and a T-fitting.
Using the ZPS PRO IDEAL Circulation Pump
Have the ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump installed by an authorized professional in accordance with all applicable regulations. The circulation pump is designed to circulate the water supply for drinking troughs. The integrated heating element prevents the water from cooling down too much and freezing, thus ensuring frost-free drinking troughs. Information about the ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump
Thanks to its constant water circulation, the ZPS PRO IDEAL circulation pump also ensures that even individual, rarely used drinking troughs don't become contaminated. Bacteria multiply rapidly in stagnant water. Furthermore, animals generally prefer to drink water that is at a comfortable temperature rather than water that is too cold. This way, your animals are optimally supplied with fresh drinking water via the frost-proof waterers, even in winter. This keeps them healthy and happy. However, switch the circulation pump to winter mode well before the onset of frost, when temperatures drop below 5 degrees Celsius. This way, the screw-in heating element will automatically start heating when the preset temperature is reached. This prevents unnecessary energy waste on frost-proof drinking troughs. After winter, switch the ZPS PRO IDEAL back to summer mode, and the heating element will cease operation.
