Bio Protection Insect Spray is an effective weapon against all insects and their brood. It is ideal for large-scale flea control as well as for use against pests such as moths, flies, midges, cockroaches, wasps, ants, silverfish, dust mites, etc. The product is effective for up to 8 weeks and is odorless. 400 ml spray can.
Natural active ingredient: Gerianol
Geraniol is a naturally derived substance found in numerous plants and herbs. It is found in geraniums, roses, coriander, bay leaves,
thyme, and curry plant, among others. Geraniol is also used in the perfume industry, for aromatherapy applications, and in food.
As an active ingredient for insect control, geraniol has the advantage of being both an excellent repellent (repels and drives away) and an effective insecticide. This results in a wide range of products that, depending on application and dosage, are ideal for prophylactic or acute use, especially against fleas and ticks. The greatest advantage, however, is that geraniol differs from conventional toxic insecticides. For decades, poisons have been used primarily against insects. Neurotoxins, in particular, burden the immune systems of humans and animals, as well as the environment. Geraniol is not a neurotoxin. Instead, it only attacks the chitin of insects, leading to their death.
Humans and pets lack chitin and are unaffected by this effect. The desired effect is achieved even at low dosages, so that
even the typical odor of geraniol is barely noticeable in Bio Schutz products.
