Description
When machinery and equipment are parked, the hydraulic lines are often under residual pressure, or pressure may have built up due to heating caused by, for example, sunlight. Connecting to the tractor’s hydraulic system is then difficult or completely impossible. In such cases, the hydraulic connector is struck against a solid object to open the valve and release the pressure. This causes the hydraulic oil to spray in all directions and also leads to hydraulic oil seeping into the ground. Over time, the coupling nipple at the front of the connector is also damaged.
The oil pressure relief pliers allow the excess pressure in the hydraulic line at the connector to be released in a controlled, safe and environmentally friendly manner. No more splattered work areas or oily clothing!
