When machines and devices are switched off, the hydraulic lines are often under residual pressure or, for example, pressure has built up due to heating due to solar radiation. Coupling to the tractor hydraulics is then difficult or completely impossible. The hydraulic connector is then hit against a solid object so that the valve opens and the pressure is reduced. This causes the hydraulic oil to spray in all directions and hydraulic oil also enters the ground. In the long run, the coupling nipple at the front of the plug is also damaged.With the oil pressure drain pliers, the excess pressure in the hydraulic line at the plug is controlled, released safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
