Robust felling wedge for driving in with a cordless impact wrench!
Spindle wedges offer a gentler and faster alternative to the conventional and strenuous driving in of plastic or metal wedges.
When used with a cordless impact wrench, powerful axe blows are no longer necessary.
This reduces the risk of branches breaking off or the tree crown breaking.
Our spindle wedge makes felling thick conifers quick and easy, especially when used in combination with a cordless screwdriver.
The working height of 44 mm makes the work easier and also replaces the conventional felling wedge and reset wedge.

FAIE recommends:
- Coating the wedge spindle and the surfaces between the wedge and the spreader plates with MoS₂ grease – this reduces friction and increases the lifting force!
- Do not continue to operate the impact wrench in the end positions of the wedge!!!
- To avoid injury, always wear sturdy gloves when working with a spindle wedge
- and ensure that the wedge is securely seated in the wood.
