Beschreibung
The eggs can be removed from the front of the pull-out tray with a wire mesh base. The nest floors are coconut mats with automatic locking and unrolling devices. The nests can be closed with fold-up approach bars. Number of animals per laying site with 6 hens is favorable.
Function: ~When a hen enters the nest, the rear part of the nest floor lowers while the front part rises. The swinging door hits the front edge of the nest floor with a metal pin, blocking the nest entrance. The hen that is in the nest can leave the nest at any time. When leaving the nest, the nest floor automatically lowers back to its starting position and only then can the deposited egg roll through a hole in the floor mat into the egg drawer. A wire bracket slows down the egg's falling speed and directs it to the rear part of the egg drawer, from where it rolls forward on the forward-sloping wire mesh base.
