With the Mastitis Detector, you can detect changes in the milk even before acute mastitis becomes visible.
This allows you to react early and better protect the health of your animals.
The device measures the electrical resistance of the milk from each individual udder quarter.
If the salt content of the milk increases, the electrical resistance also changes.
This value is considered a reliable indicator of incipient mastitis.
This also allows you to detect subclinical cases of mastitis – long before external symptoms appear on the animal.
The simultaneous display of all four measurements facilitates direct comparison of the udder quarters.
