Description
Small plastic bee escape with two ring channels for self-installation.
This bee escape is a classic and efficient tool for facilitating honey harvesting, as it functions like a one-way sluice: the bees can leave the honey chamber down into the brood chamber, but due to the design, they can hardly find their way back. This leaves the honey chamber largely bee-free, making harvesting significantly less stressful. The bee escapes can be combined with one another. As a general rule, the more passages there are, the more effectively the honey chamber is emptied.
When installing, ensure you create a completely sealed barrier so that the bees cannot bypass the designated escape route.
